The Athens Mobility Observatory (www.amob.ntua.gr) is an initiative of the Department of Transportation Planning and Engineering of the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, with a mission to collect, process, analyze and openly disseminate key knowledge and data in order to support the implementation of a modern and sustainable urban mobility in Athens. The development and operation of Athens Mobility Observatory is coordinated by Professor George Yannis.
The vision of Athens Mobility Observatory is to contribute to the advancement of sustainable urban mobility in Athens, through the scientific support of evidence based decision making both for public authorities, the industry and the whole society, striving for Safe, Green and Efficient Mobility for all.
