The Directorate General for Mobility and Transport (DG Move) of the European Commission, has recently updated the EU city database on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs), which provides information on the urban nodes on the trans-European transport network. It incorporates an interactive map, which uses the filter by country' and 'search for city' functions to explore the 431 urban nodes listed in the database. The information presented in the EU city database is gathered from publicly-available, official sources such as Eurostat, national population databases, national and regional databases on urban mobility plans and SUMPs, and city websites.
